The terms and conditions for use of the Goldsmiths website are detailed below and should be read carefully. We may vary these terms from time to time and therefore you should check them before you make a new purchase.
Please note, any use of this website or purchase made through this website constitutes an agreement to abide by the terms and conditions detailed below which shall override any other terms and conditions. Any contracts or agreements formed between you and us by means of this website shall be governed and construed according to English law and any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
We have taken care in presenting the products on our website as accurately as possible. The images you see will depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities. We are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images you see are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise. Before you place an order you should read the Delivery Information and Returns Policy.
All credit, debit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g Electoral Roll data, Credit Reference Services). A third party may also be instructed to complete these checks. By ordering from the Goldsmiths.co.uk website you consent to such checks being made. We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to process and dispatch your order, or we may be unable to accept your order. Any information given may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of the information.
All information provided will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. These measures are taken as extra protection for you, to ensure your online shopping experience with us is as safe and secure as possible.
Once you have completed an online purchase, we will send you an email confirming your order details.
When your order is placed, the funds for your order will be ‘pending’ ready for us to ‘collect’ when we despatch your order.
Pending funds means the amount of authorised money is set aside, away from your available balance and the amount is not debited completely until the day of despatch.
Goods will not be despatched until payment collection has been successful.
Whilst we are under no obligation to accept your order, we would normally do so where:
(i) the product is available
(ii) the order reflects current pricing
(iii) your credit card/debit card payment is approved by your credit card/debit card company and
(iiii) your order passes our verification checks
We cannot accept orders from persons under the age of 18.
Orders placed using a debit/credit card must be based within the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, we do not accept non-UK credit or debit cards.

Calls are charged at local rate. Unfortunately we are unable to accept PayPal payments or Interest Free Credit applications over the telephone.
When can I expect my orders to arrive?
All orders received online at Goldsmiths are processed and, depending on stock availability, are despatched as promptly as possible and normally within 3 to 5 working days of receiving the order. If the items you have ordered qualify for Express Delivery, they will normally be despatched within 1-2 working days.
Where any products have a longer delivery time of 48 hours, our customer experience team will contact you by email to confirm the approximate date of despatch.
Can I track my order once it has been dispatched?
If you have selected a residential or business address for delivery, once you have received your order confirmation your delivery will be due the following day (excluding Sundays).
If your order has not been received within the agreed times (see your despatch note for confirmation of this) then you will be able to contact our insured courier service, Secure Mail Service on: 0844 2773313 to track your order.
For Click & Collect deliveries you will be able to contact your chosen showroom directly, or, alternatively, you may wish to contact our customer experience team on 0845 604 2320. Our lines are open Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm, and 9am - 5pm on bank holidays. Calls are charged at local rate.
Use of promotional codes online
Only one promotional code (i.e. Voucher Codes) may be used per transaction. Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, on sale items, with Interest Free Credit or insurance cards, unless clearly stated in the promotion's terms and conditions. Goldsmiths reserve the right to cancel any orders that contravene these terms and conditions and the customer will be notified. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Our gift cards have no expiry date and can be used repeatedly. Only one gift card can be used per transaction. The card is not valid in conjunction with any other promotional offer.
Normal terms and conditions for using Goldsmiths.co.uk apply except when they conflict with these terms and conditions.
The card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, and cannot be used retrospectively to pay for orders already purchased.

We try to ensure that all product information and pricing displayed on this website is correct and up to date at the time you place an order. We verify pricing at despatch and in the event of an error the following policies will apply:

All sale items displayed have been on sale at a higher price for at least 28 consecutive days within the last 6 months; either on the Goldsmiths website or in any other Goldsmiths showroom.
The Goldsmiths website does offer an alternative selection of discounted items to our showrooms. The pricing of items on the Goldsmiths website is independent of other Goldsmiths showrooms.
Any items sold on the Goldsmiths website at discounted prices cannot be bought at the discounted price in another Goldsmiths showroom. The sale online is an offer only available online. This does not affect your statutory rights.

All products and/or services displayed on this website are subject to availability. Prices of products may change from time to time. Credit/Debit Card Payment
We will contact your payment card company for authorisation when you place your order. Your payment card will then be debited when we pick your order for despatch. We accept the following cards for payment: American Express, Mastercard and Visa. The total amount you pay is unaffected, regardless of the payment method used.
We take every reasonable care to ensure that your order and subsequent transactions are conducted in a secure environment. If products are not available for any reason after we have accepted your order, we will let you know. We will not charge you for these products and will refund any amounts already paid (if any) by way of a credit to your credit card/debit card account.

The Goldsmiths 10-year Diamond Promise guarantee
At Goldsmiths we are proud of our reputation as suppliers of quality jewellery.
The diamond purchase detailed on the certificate is guaranteed against flaws in workmanship, for a period of ten years from the date of purchase. We recommend an annual inspection be undertaken at any Goldsmiths showroom during the lifetime of the guarantee.
Should you have any cause for complaint, you should return the item to:

The guarantee does not cover loss or damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect or normal wear and tear.

Goldsmiths will provide a full refund or exchange should you receive a faulty item or be unsatisfied with an item received on the following conditions:
If any items in your order prove to be faulty, please download a returns form and return the items to Goldsmiths with a copy of the delivery note. If you need any advice, please call the Goldsmiths customer experience team.
Our promise to replace the item or refund your money does not apply to faults or damages caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
If you change your mind you may return any product to Goldsmiths, unopened and in perfect condition, within 30 days of receipt of your delivery:
Certain exclusions apply see paragraph below. Please contact the Goldsmiths customer experience team to obtain a returns number, include the reason the product has been returned and indicate whether you would like to receive a refund (excluding your original delivery charge) or an exchange.
Please be aware that refunds for purchases made using 3rd party tender types e.g. insurance cards, may not be possible on the same day. If this is the case, our showroom or customer experience teams will advise you and keep you updated with progress.
Except in relation to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods, where your statutory rights are unaffected, personalised goods made to a customer's specifications may not be returned. When your item is a special ordered large item, we do not keep stock of this item and we will raise an order through a supplier direct to you. In such cases you may not be able to return your goods if they are unwanted, however if you experience problems with your goods or order then please contact the Goldsmiths customer experience team.
For further details on returning your purchase to a Goldsmiths store, please refer to the reverse of your delivery note. In all cases you must obtain a returns number by contacting the Goldsmiths customer experience team, this will ensure we can track all parts of the returns process.
Goldsmiths does not accept returns from the website to our airport showrooms. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Under the Consumer Protection Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order with us at any time within 7 days of receiving your goods. In the event we are unable to deliver your order within our standard delivery timescales you are entitled to cancel your order with no penalty. Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods, this will not include delivery charge if you have cancelled after your order has been dispatched, also not a service provided by us, such as a special delivery service. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods, which means the goods must be unused. Please contact our customer experience team should you wish to cancel your order.
Even though packages are sent via secure courier, on rare occasions we do experience losses whilst in transit. Please get in touch with our customer experience team if you think this may be the case with your order.
Please be aware that if we are not contacted within 30 days, an insurance claim cannot be made and thus the customer will be unable to claim any loss from Goldsmiths.
All deliveries will be made to you at the addresses specified by you in the order. We may, at our discretion and expense, deliver parts of your order separately. If we cannot deliver the products to you at the address you have specified for any reason (other than when we are at fault), we will notify you and store the products. If you wish us to redeliver the products to you, you will need to authorise us to charge your credit card/debit card for such re-delivery. If we do not hear from you within 28 days, we will cancel the order and refund your payment to you less any reasonable delivery charges we have incurred.
A signature may be required to receive the order and you will be responsible for the products as soon as they are delivered. Ownership of the products shall pass to you once we have received payment in full.
If you decide to have your order delivered to a different address than your own, a signature may still be required and the general conditions of delivery will remain unchanged. Please note, orders paid using Interest Free Credit must be delivered to the same address as the billing address used to pay the deposit.
Message card and gift wrapping
At Goldsmiths we offer a luxury gift wrapping service. All products will arrive inside a standard box. Those that are gift wrapped will be hand wrapped in our luxury gold wrapping paper and chocolate ribbon with a gift tag. This service may be withdrawn at any time.
