Inspired by the 4th generation Speedmaster style worn on the moon, The Speedmaster Moonwatch is one of Omega’s most iconic timepieces. Having been part of all six moon landings, this legendary watch captures the heart of the brand’s pioneering spirit.

Demonstrating the brand’s commitment to evolution, this new 2021 edition, offers even more reliability, precision and excellence with Master Chronometer certification.

AN INNOVATIVE DISCOVERY

Presented on a black leather strap, this 42mm Canopus Gold™ Moonwatch boasts a silver-tone dial framed by an anodised aluminium bezel ring with a tachymeter scale and the famous dot over the 90.

The Master Chronometer 3861 calibre movement provides precision to this timepiece and powers the small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute and 12-hour recorder, and central chronograph function.

CANOPUS GOLD

OMEGA has been using the exclusive Canopus Gold™, an 18K white gold alloy, since 2015. As well as being 100% noble, it bears all the standard characteristics of other 18K golds while also distinguishing itself for its high brilliance, whiteness and longevity, making it an ideal material for high-end or diamond set timepieces. The alloy is named after the bright star Canopus, which is 71 times bigger and 10’000 times brighter than our sun. Due to its brilliance and position, Canopus became an important reference point for many space agencies. Its unique composition includes platinum, rhodium and palladium for colour and stability.
