A History of the Endurance Pro

Launched in 2020 as part of Breitling’s Professional range, the Endurance Pro collection seamlessly combines a sporting aesthetic and functionality. Taking inspiration from sports has long been part of Breitling’s legacy, having partnered with major sporting events.

The Endurance Pro also took inspiration from the Breitling Sprint, a memorable watch from the 1970s that featured a light weight pulsometer for athletes who wanted to be able to monitor their heart rates and accurately track their progress. The Sprint came in many colours, as was the trend in the 1970s, and the Endurance Pro is a modern evolution of the design, originally available in five exciting colourways: white, blue, yellow, orange or red. Each piece in the original collection features a black dial and a black bidirectional rotating bezel, with engraved cardinal compass points. This latest Endurance Pro, exclusive to the Watches of Switzerland Group, was influenced by the Breitling Sprint featured below, and adds an exciting colour to the range.

Innovative Design and Technology for an Active Lifestyle

The Breitling Endurance Pro rises to the challenge of rigorous sports and workouts while remaining stylish enough for everyday wear. It combines an ultra-lightweight 44-millimetre Breitlight® case and a thermo-compensated SuperQuartz™ movement that is ten times more accurate than conventional quartz. It offers optimal comfort and blends innovative technology with a vibrant and colourful design.

Created with an inner bezel, which is marked with a useful pulsometer scale, making it easy for the user to keep track of their heart rate during sports sessions and the strap is secured with a Breitlight® double-pin buckle. The watch also has a tactile moulded crown in the same colour as the strap and the inner bezel ring for excellent grip and manoeuvrability. Boasting the same features and performance, we are proud to showcase this incredible timepiece in an exclusive dark green, complete with a black inner bezel and green dial with contrasting black subdials.

Breitling introduced the 100% Swiss made ultra-light Breitlight® in 2016. This robust material has a high resistance to scratches, traction, and corrosion and is the perfect partner for the Endurance Pro. The originality of the design is further highlighted with the material’s slightly textured effect which also feels less cool to the touch than metal.

Powering the Endurance Pro is the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 82, with SuperQuartz™ technology that delivers exceptional precision. The hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®, making them legible in low visibility conditions, perfect for those who workout before or after work. For our exclusive, the second hand has a white pointer to easily keep track of the elapsed time. Along with a small-second subdial, there are 1/10th second and 30-minute chronograph counters that have also been designed for easy reading. With a water resistance to 100 metres, the Breitling Endurance Pro is the perfect partner for an active lifestyle.
